  • Woops, sorry kids, had a fit of extreme emo-ness for a moment yesterday. It soon passed though...after I came up with an EXCELLENT NEW WAY to start the story :D() The thing is, I've been feeling uncomfortable with how the comic started for the longest time now, and the previous major revision didn't really solve problems because I wanted to simply improve--it was a constant struggle of compromise--but the thing that the comic needed most was change. And at this point these issues have come to a new height in its relentless plague upon me, so much so that whenever I try working on newer pages I stop myself because of these past insecurities with the story. I want this comic to be something I can be completely proud of, but this can't be so if I can't get the first chapter, the most important chapter, done in a way I can fully appreciate. There is so much more I want to say on this subject, but they're really not necessary at the moment. But just for the next few weeks there won't be updates to the pages while I rework the first unit in my head and hopefully get started on new pages. I'll probably still periodically post on here to keep everyone updated on the situation though, so it wouldn't hurt to check back every so often ;D. Anyway, I apologize for this sudden decision to revise, but the comic is something I do because it's something I thoroughly enjoy, except I can't thoroughly enjoy it when it's haunting me at the same time, so you know. It's either revise or fall into a permanent rut, ultimately leading to the sudden arrest of the comic altogether.

  • Um. Yeah. The comic's kind of lame right now. I think I'm going to remake it. Or something. Shrug. Maybe I'll concentrate on violin for now? Later, kids.

  • This will be a two-part update; come back SUNDAY evening for fan art and the conclusion of Section 2.1!
  • LINKS are updated with Dinosaur Comics and Boy on a Stick and Slither.
  • ...I'd say the Headmaster laid down a bit of a zinger.

  • YARGH! I'm back! I'm home. The roadtrip was quite an adventure, and I also sketched a lot.
  • Last Friday, August 6th, was the THIRD YEAR ANNIVERSARY of Directions of Destiny! (hintcoughfanartplz)
  • However, I don't have an update just yet for the comic @_@. There will be one next week, though!
  • While I was gone I had received some very lovely fan art from the artist of the webcomic A Stranger in Paradise, a certain Jen, a certain Jenny, a certain Tiffany, and a certain Stephanie. Check them out :o!
  • Also, if you ordered any prints from me and you haven't received it yet, chances are I didn't get your payment until after I returned from the trip, but rest assured that you should be receiving them shortly!
