Section 1.2 continues
I have this irrational aversion to looking at my website when I miss my updates because I'm afraid I'll come back and see a million comments worth of angry fans making me feel like a horrible person for not updating. (But thanks to everyone for not doing that; you have no idea how I relieved I felt when I finally go the nerve to look at the comments just now XD) I'm also reluctant to look at my webstats during this period, for fear that the visitors would have dramatically decreased because of my FAILURE to APPEASE THEM, or that they had dramatically increased, and that new readers have the first impression that I'm a big lame slacker. :(
So while I could've (and should've!) put a little notice here saying that I've been busy with (more!) school projects and midterms and crap that prevented me from using the computer as often as necessary to put the finishing touches on these four new pages, I didn't, because I'm a big fat wuss. D:
But anyway, the four pages that I said would be up last Sunday are finally up now (much in thanks to the slave work assistance of my friend Tina ;D). I guess daily updates didn't work out too well this month (considering the one week I actually did it was the week that I missed the most classes throughout the whole semester >___>) Regardless, I still need to finish all the pages for the book by the second week of May if I want to retain any hope of having it ready for Anime Expo, so until then, I'll try to update whenever possible. After that's all over, I'll either go back to Thursday updates, or maybe try for a Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday schedule? (Obviously I know you kids would like the latter option very much XPP)
Anyway, pre-order my book! ;D

Section 1.2
Well, last week ended up being another bust as far as daily updates goes 9_9. Here are the next two pages though; I've got the next four after this inked too, so I'm going to try to put them up later today! But onto the important stuff...
Pre-ordering for the first Directions of Destiny book is online! This is a collection of Sections 1.1 and 1.2, plus some extra fun stuff like 4-koma comics and character profiles, totalling up to 80 pages! The book will be sold for $5, plus $3 for shipping and handling fees (it'd be about $2 to mail it and $1 for the packaging) within the U.S., or $5 shipping for international orders! Payments will be accepted via PayPal, but if you would like to use some other means of ordering, say money order or check (or cash if you want to take a risk), e-mail me about it!
I'll be sending the pages to the printer around the first or second week of May, so the books will be arriving at my doorsteps around the end of June, so I'll start sending them out then! Pre-orders will receive a free sketch of a character of their choosing, so order now! Or if you'll be going to Anime Expo this summer, you can skip out on the shipping fees as I will be in the artist alley selling these as well!

Section 1.2 continues
Arrggghh sorry for not putting up any new pages at all last week--my body was simply not cooperating no matter what I did :x. Anyway, I seem to feel much better this week, so I'll go back to doing the daily updates. Because of the lack of pages from last week, I'm going to try to put two pages a day for this week to get caught up!
...Today's pages aren't up yet though, because I've still got a few things to do to them. I have to go to class in a few minutes though, so I'll finish them when I get back, and they should be here by 8PM PST! I'll work on tomorrow's pages during class some so hopefully they'll be ready by the time I leave for classes tomorrow morning :3. Anyway, here's 8PM PST, and here are the two new pages for today! @_@

No new pages
Well, first of all, my slimemansion.com host suspected me of sending spam, but obviously that's not the case, so it's possibly that somebody is tapping into my CGI scripts to use the sendmail program there to send spam to people. Fun! So the CGI scripts on slimemansion.com are disabled, and since I have most of the scripts on this site hosted there for convenience sake, they weren't working for the past two days or so! But I've moved most of them over to here, so now they should be working. But the forums aren't working because that needs to stay over at slimemansion.com.
Also, I'm using hans[at]directionsfdestiny.com as my e-mail address for this site from now on, rather than hans[at]slimemansion.com, because it seems like it's more stable.
And...I'm guessing you're wondering where the daily updates went :p. Well, they're not done yet, due to my body not cooperating this week, and some school assignments. I'll catch up by the weekend though, and it'll be as if I didn't miss a single update at all :o! So just be patient :3

No new pages
So while it might still be possible for me to finish today's page before I go to class today, there's also the whole deal with me not having gone to sleep yet, and for some reason I have this feeling that my productivity for whole week will be going down the crapper if I don't take a short nap right now before I head off to school.
So, today's page will have to wait. I'll either do a two-page update some time this week, or I'll make up for it over the weekend. Sorry!

Well, seeing as how I've been waking up in the dead of night and putting up the new page between 6AM~9AM this past week, I guess I should mention that I woke up at 11AM today instead, so the new page will come a little later on in the day :o. The new page is finally up x_o It was a bit more than a "few" hours--sorry :x! It took a lo~t longer than expected to do this page >_> But anyway! One week of daily updates! Woo! I'll try to get the next five pages started during the weekend so next week won't be so hectic :3.
To busy yourselves further, I've received a handful of new fanart yesterday, one of which I'm strongly considering a candidate as the alternate ending of this chapter? XD So check them out <3

Phoaaaarrr, check it out, I made the second consecutive update out of the previously announced DAILY UPDATES for this month! It's not killing me too badly yet, but I still have homework for school to do! :D()

Today, April 4th, is Zephan's birthday! In celebration of this event (because he still hasn't gotten any FAN ART), I will be KILLING MYSELF (figuratively!) by committing to DAILY UPDATES FOR THE REST OF THIS MONTH. That's right! One page a day, Monday through Fridays, for four weeks! Why can I do this?! I don't know! I don't think I actually can! BUT I'LL TRY! Now that I've finished my short story for Disposable Parts, I feel like I can CONQUER THE WORLD! BWA HA HA HA.
Oh man. I'm really going to kill myself, aren't I?
Well, to start off this glooooorious month (for you!you!you!), here's a COMPLETELY UNTONED page continuing Section 1.2! I'll tone it tonight, as well as work on the next page, yeah?! YEAH!
...If you REALLY want to know why I'm doing this, it's because for the PRINTED BOOK of Directions of Destiny which I will be selling at ANIME EXPO this year, I need to have my pages sent to the printers by early May to get it in on time, and the only way I will accomplish this is by doing five pages a week from this point forward, seeing as I want to put in the first two chapters into the book. SO! Why not make it daily updates? It'll be better than telling myself, Oohh, I'll save it for LATER i.e. Wednesday night, and end up REALLY killing myself over it then, and not making the deadline.
I figure, if professional artists in Japan can churn out 20+ pages a week (even though they've got freaking ASSISTANTS flying out of every pore of their body!!) I can at least try to make 5?
AND YES, I will be selling a printed book of DoD at Anime Expo with the first two chapters! And I'll sell it here, online, as well! Pre-order information will be up shortly, for those who are interested ;D. (I'm thinking, $5 a book plus $2 shipping??)
