Sorry guys--the update this week is only two pages, and they're very much incomplete at the moment. x_o I have four midterms this week and I just got my textbooks last week, so I had to spend the entire weekend catching up on my reading. ;O In any case, only one midterm to go and then I'm done with that for the next month or so, which means I'll use the weekend to get caught up with the comic to the best of my ability. :3
And in case you didn't notice, I registered the comic at Topwebcomics and Buzzcomix last Friday! For those of you who didn't get the chance, the vote incentive pictures will still be up until October 1st, where I'll change the incentive pictures, so look at them while you can. :3 New vote incentives are up! Topwebcomics has a painting of Azalea and Buzzcomix has one of Magnolia. :3
Alsoo~ the comic anthology book I'm in called Disposable Parts is now officially discounted from $15 to $13.50, and 10% of the proceeds will go now go towards charities! Please buy a copy! ♥

Well the short update was pretty much the gist of it. I spent a lot of time working on various aspects of Directions of Destiny over the past week, but unfortunately very little of that time was spent on the actual comic pages that I needed to do for THIS week. 6_6() Instead I finished the cover art for Section 1.5 in advance, among other things. :D()
I fixed up the Fanworks section a bit too, so that all the fancomics were moved from being clumped up with all the other fanart into its own section. HEY KIDS DRAW ME FAN ART/FAN COMICS! :DDD
An~d this is a bit early, but the comic anthology book Disposable Parts (wherein I have a 15-page short story) will be discounted starting next week, and part of the proceeds will go towards charities! Hurray! So if you haven't bought a copy yet but were thinking about getting one, after this week's over you'll have all the more reason to do so! Wooooo
Uhhh also, I've decided to start whoring out advertising the comic at Topwebcomics and Buzzcomix. :D() I won't bother you too much with it, but if you want to see a painted version of the Section 1.1 cover, I won't stop you from voting for my comic to see it! Or you can see a rough drawing of Douglas by voting for my comic here too! >_>

Uh, besides working on the next installment, other stuff on my to-do list include: putting that fan art up, finishing toning the entirety of Section 1.3 ('cos some pages in the second half are still a bit empty ;o), FINISH COMMISSIONS, study from school maybe?? X_o()

LOOK AT ME, I UPDATED ON TIME!!! Oh man, you didn't think I'd make it, did you? You thought, "Oh, since it only just updated on Monday, there's no WAY he can pull out another update in time for Thursday!" Well, you thought WRONG! Bwa ha ha. Anyway, only two comic pages this week, but to make up for it, there's one title page too that took me ALL DAY to colour. @_@ I still don't know what I'm doing with these backgrounds--I had to ask a friend to critique it like every 5 minutes. :D() Oh well, a lesson learned for next time?

Alsooooo, I went back and reformatted all the old comic page files so that it's uniform throughout, and also to implement a "first page" and "last page" button for each page--you can now click on those to easily navigate to the *gasp* very first page, or *GASP!* very last page! C-convenient??
In any case, I actually planned more pages this week, but uh, this is a good place to stop--next week I'll have more than the usual number of pages, so look forward to that?
And uh, by the way, um. I did a guest comic for Punks and Nerds, a webcomic of a ol' friend of mine. It (my guest comic) is um. kind of. stupid and lame. and profane. 6_6() But don't worry, I apologized to Josh already!! But you've had fair warning so no apologies for you. O_O
And I still need to put up the new fan art. o_o() SLEEP FIRST! X3

OH MAN YOU GUYS, I'M SORRY I'M SO LATE. O_O Umm these pages aren't quite as ready as I'd like them to be, so I'll probably fix them up some more for the next update (which will hopefully be on Thursday, although I guess I shouldn't make any guarantees, given my track record x_x). But in any case, Section 1.3's done now! Wooooo.
Oh, uh, change your link banners to the new ones, if you're using the old ones!!!

I apologize for not meeting the Saturday update last week, and yet again for not finishing the update in time for this Thursday! Unngghh. I swear I'll have it up this Saturday though!!
Until then, please link to Directions of Destiny using some new banners I made for the site! :D ...You'll notice they're all actually updated versions of the old banners I had, but uh. Yeah. WOO PSEUDO-NEW BANNERS!! And if you're already linking to the site, please replace your old banners with the new/updated ones. :D
EDIT [Saturday]: Arrgghh okay these pages are taking much longer than expected so I'm still working on them at the moment, and they probably won't be done until much later into the evening, or even sometime on Sunday. Sorry! D:
