January 15, 2006 Section 1.4 continues

Oh geez, over two weeks already?? =_= And here I thought I'd get caught up with my quota over break. :X Well, in any case, four new pages. Uhh I didn't mean for the previous page to really be a cliffhanger or anything, and I'm surprised by how many people thought that was sweat on Azalea. x_o It wasn't! :D() No amount of sweat is capable of penetrating through three layers of clothes, and infect the nearest standing person!

I really wanted to put more detail in the backgrounds in these pages, but if I took any longer it would've probably taken over three weeks to finish. Mnegh, I'll get back to them later I suppose!
Uhhh these past few pages were somewhat difficult for me due to the backgrounds (although generally less painful than the architectural backgrounds from earlier ;o), and the next few pages are going to have MORE trees, plus other things that I probably don't know how to draw very well, so seeing as I'm updating three days past Thursday, I'm not sure I'll be able to make an update by this Thursday x_x. I'll certainly try, but I guess don't get your hopes up. :\

In other news: birthdays! Tomorrow (the 16th) is Azalea's. Hurray! And the 28th is Libelle's. (Yeah, my character birthdays matter to me. :X) Oh, and it's Silla's (of whom Libelle was loosely based off!) too. Uh, and the 4th was my 20th. Wooo I'm a geezer. XD

Wow, pretty backgrounds. I'm loving Azalea more and more. There is more to her than there used to be, or at least, there used to be less character development for her. Yay~! (And I thought I was old when I turned 17 in Nov. You're practically ancient, but I guess your talent makes up for your being an oldhead.)

Little typo: on page 17, Xin says, "but I guess we can't have all have our way."

Other than that, it's interesting to see more Xin character development. Revised version is definitely taking a different turn than the original.

Finally an update! Though I'm kinda peeved that Xin's being all close to Azalea (I'm a ZephanxAzalea fan ^_^), things are more interesting now. The plot/character developments are better than the predirection version IMO. Keep it up! ^_^

I feel like such an evil Grammar Nazi for bringing this up... but...

I think maybe the said quote would sound better if it were "...but I guess we all can't have our way." I dunno, maybe it's just me... ><' I'm sorry!

I still <3 Xin tho :P

Well, even though the rewording you suggested makes more sense grammatically, "We can't all have our way" is commonly used colloquially; it's one thing to be correct, and another thing to be believable. :3

This chapter made me antsy. ^^ I think it's because of the fact that here, it was a perfect chance for Zephan to show some sort of worry over Azalea, and instead, it eneded up with Xin. Oh well, it's all intended.

And don't think we missed that sideways-somber look Ryan had in one panel. Methinks there are some secret crushes going on. ^O^ Me with my love for pairings however, hope that the result will still end up in Zephan/Azalea. X3

Yeah! More updates! For awhile there I was afraid you'd forgotten all about DoD. Hooray for updates and character birthdays! *cheers*

I think Xin isn't interested in Azalea in any sort of way except perhaps in a brotherly fashion. He always seemed the big-brother type to me for some reason.
