Ahhh sorry for not updating! X_X Truth is the remainder of the chapter had not been thumbnailed at all despite having completed the script some two months ago--I was still pretty iffy about it, not only in content, but also in my ability to draw it properly. To make a long story short, after making a few futile stabs at thumbnailing what I originally had in mind, I ended up tossing it all out and reworking the script for the rest of Section 1.4 last night. :D() But the good news is that I'm far more pleased with it now and the thumbnails are all completed, so hopefully you'll see an update this Thursday! @_@ In which I'll probably rant in more detail about what I changed. Yay!

Also, the new semester starts for me on Monday @_@! Buuut it should be all right. Section 1.4 has given me the most problems so far, but I already have Section 1.5 and part of 1.6 scripted, and even then I pretty much know exactly what I want to happen in 1.6 and 1.7 at this point, so it should be smooth sailing from here on out, and with a little motivation I might even make my deadline of having the full volume book out by Anime Expo this year! :D

Right...smooth sailing unless you suddenly decide to rescript the rest...i hope not hans!!! i want to know whats going on! long time reader of destiny...even before you changed it all. not that it's bad to change it, but i beg you, finish the story, give it a chance!!

Then maybe I should go to AX this year, unless you're doing the same deal as before--letting fans buy it online and mailing it over... with a sketch included? =P

Finally a word from you! i was worried that you wouldn't update for another two months like last time! But oh well, at least you let us readers know you're still working on this. Looking forward to Thursday then! ^_^

Oh, good! I was afraid you had abandoned the project.

That always seems to happen with all the on-line comics I read. -.-" I suppose I just have bad luck.

Are you going to be releasing sections 1.3 and 1.4 in a book of their own? It would go nicely beside the first on my bookshelf :p

Yay! Rescript thingy!

I trust your judgement as far as the scripting goes, I wish I could go to Anime Expo so I could give you a big hug! I've been a long time reader of DoD so I always look forward to your updates!

Keep up the beautiful work!

^__^ There's no point in posting if you're not satisfied with it yourself, so tweak it until it feels just right to you!! Good luck with it, I'm sure everyone will like it no matter what the result is!

I think I will kill myself if I dont see an update tomrrow. Is that drastic or just pure insanity.

Posted by: Kevin | Feb 6, 2006 7:10 PM

^^Probably a little drastic but I sorta agree.

I don't mind the time between updates, I just hate the uncertain wait. I would be in heaven if we were always given a date for the next update. A realistic one. I mean, why doesn't he give himself say a monthly update. In those times with hard backgrounds, tons of school stuff, or whatnot, he can release a few pages. Those times it goes smoothly, we get a bunch more. The upside of that is that we get to come on that date and be excited to see the new material instead of coming back each day for a small dose of dissapointment while we try to guess when we might actually get the update we've been craving for.

Yes, craving for, because this comic is just THAT good.

I like Kevin's idea. Those who like the comic would be willing to wait once a month to read it, including me. If people stopped reading it because of the wait, the readers Hans would have left would be really devoted so he'd have a pretty loyal fanbase. And who doesn't want that?

Posted by: Felicia | Feb 7, 2006 5:21 PM

Maybe it could be like how Haru-Sari updates-you get an update and learn that 'next page arriving next Friday' or something. Then we'd know the exact date and wouldn't get our hopes risen and then fallen everyday.

I'm nearly crying with frustration! I don't want to rush you of course, but please update soon! This webcomic is one of the BEST and definitely one of my favourites. :)

I'm not an artist, but I have been watching this since it began and haven't stopped yet, so you must be doing something right.
Heh, I even check for updates when I KNOW that there won't be one.
