February 9, 2006 Section 1.4 continues

H-hello! Uh. Apologies for the late update, again. :X There were a few more scripting crises mixed into the silence of the past, er, month. x_X Annnnnd I started school! But don't worry, it actually seems to be helping me in keeping me on track with my work schedule. :D() Sooo given that I don't come across any more scripting crises (and I shouldn't, at least not for the duration of the rest of this chapter and the next chapter!), I'll try to put things into overdrive until this first book is FINISHED XO!

(If I don't update next week, please get mad at me. I'll appreciate it. :X)

(Oh, but you needn't worry about the comic discontinuing if I DO miss a few updates--I'm in this for the long run!)

Sooooyeah. Section 1.4 has 4 new pages. First one's fully finished. The next three are at various stages of near-completeness. 6_6() One of these days I'll go back through all the other near-completed pages and finish them once and for all, I promise!

Annnd y'all should check out this fancomic strip done for Azalea's birthday. ♥ (I'll put it in my fanworks section along with the other stuff I've received soon!)

Well, 'til next week :o! (In which I'll elaborate on the earlier scripting problems I had, for those who may be interested. :D())

The amount of detail you put in these pages is absolutely divine. And this new take on the story's very intriguing too... can't wait to see how this chapter turns out. Keep it up! \o/

Very well done! even if you say some of the pages in this update aren't "finished" so to speak, they are still amazing! Well done! Can't wait to see how this turns out (or for the books release for that matter)

Yay an update! I'm getting really worried that you won't make regular updates anymore.... The wait is so aggravating! But, since I love this comic oh so much (^_^), I will patiently await your next updates. Good luck! And cool pages by the way! ^_^

That tree must have taken you a long time to draw. O_o

I'm really liking the changes made to the plot--they reveal so much more about Azalea than the old storyline did. She's got more depth now, and the flashbacks always help. :)

Although i've been frustrated by your lateness in the last year, you have produced 120 pages since your relaunch, which is more than a lot of other webcomic artists can say. I remember back in May(?) '05 when you did a page every weekday for 2 weeks. You've proven that you're capable of updating on time without sacrificing quality, which, unfortunately, makes delays even more frustrating. All in all, though, you've had a good year. Its great that you're planning to print a book, i'll definitely buy it. The only problem is that you might have an issue with getting the color section covers printed in with the B&W pages. Anyhow, good luck with your second relaunch year, looking forward to the book. How many sections in chapter 1, by the way?

Re: Harry, most of the delays that happen are due to issues with scripting, as I mentioned above in the update. I do not proclaim myself as a writer, and even though I'm always trying to improve, I still have a good deal of difficulty with scripting something satisfactory; the cases where I have been able to put out pages consistently on a weekly basis have been cases where I knew exactly what I wanted in the script, but that was not the case of this chapter and pieces of the forthcoming chapters. Moral of the story: I'm going to script out the entirety of the next volume before I start drawing it! X_x() Anyway, to answer your question, each unit will contain seven sections. :3

And ah, just to clarify, the author of a post is displayed underneath the post--the person who wrote about Xuan Wu was actually pawn3dkitty, not OmegaZen. :D()
