Thank you for the nice update. I liked how the council was relaxing with cookies and such. Nice couch area :p. And you still got in the dig about the presidency and temp secretary. :) Azalea's being all mysterious now though....

I think I like Mei better here. I can't believe she got lost! lol! And speaking about her crush in front of her crush! lol! I think she's more lively now that she has friends to bounce things off of-reflect her personality, etc. Xin's still oblivious though :p.

Does Zephan sketch? Will we ever get to see what he's sketching? :p Or is that just a regular ol' notebook?

It's also interesting to see how everyone eats cookies differently :p.

The pre-orders for unit 1, are they just 1.1 and 1.2? Or all of 1.1-1.7? I'm interested... :)

Welcome back, Hans! We've all missed you! Sooo many pages! I just HAD to read them right away (even though I should be studying for a final exam XD) I really missed reading DoD these past few weeks!

Frankly, I like Mei's character more in this version than the old one. In Predirection, I thought of her as ditzy, with the whole cellphone and stuttering bit. But now, she's still ditzy, but in a cute(er) way. Like Akung said before me, she has friends with who she can talk with and that makes her seem like a normal teenage girl with a crush. Actually, she's like a typical character in shoujo manga =D (I love shoujo manga ^_^) And you even used some shoujo effects with the bubbles and sparkles, in the parts where she's imagining in her own world. I love it XD

I like how the cover of this section ties in with the contents. She's reading directions on the cover (at least I think that's what they are!) and in the story she's also reading directions (but sucks at it XD I loved the part when she tore them up in frustration!)

The book is finally coming out! I'm definitely ordering this time (since it's the full volume ^_^) For the sketches, how specific are we allowed to be in our requests (if we can at all XD)?

Well, keep it up! I'm sure you'll be able to finish the pages in time! I'm looking forward to reading what happens next! And congrats on getting accepted for Japan!

AKung, those are minutes that Zephan is writing; I just felt that I should at least show the council members doing their job once in a while. :D() Annd I COULD make prints in poster-size, but I don't know how much they would cost at the moment, and I would have to make a trip to Kinko's to see about that, since they don't list prices on their website. T_T. (Or somebody could check for me at their local Kinko's. XD)

And Saphyre, sketch requests can be as specific as you want as long as it only involves one Directions of Destiny character. :3

P.S. EVERYONE SHOULD CHECK OUT THE FORUMS FOR SOMETHING. O_O

Woo! Its Teh Hans! With long update! Ah, that's made my day start off quite a lot better than expected.

Glad to see you alive and well Hans, and good luck with getting all your cash for Japan! My paycheck comes through soon, so I thinks I may just purchase something to help you towards that goal!

WHOW! I just read the latest update and it's AMAZING Hans! It's so....long! It's definately the longest update you've ever done, looks like you've been working hard while the rest of us were trying to hit that 300 comments goal, hee!

Whow, you've really given Mei more character developement this time round, she seems quite different, with her own gang of friends too *cheers*, good job! I didn't know she was so money-minded though O_o and I didn't know Xin was so amazingly rich either. I like Mei's friends a lot, cool-looking people, will they make more appearances? (hee, can't wait to see 'em fighting too!).

I think the big council meeting scene was good. It fleshes out the whole 'Zephan-becomes-president' sub-plot-thingy very well and much smoother than before (the way Azalea just relinquished presidency in the previous version seemed a bit rushed). I like the council room much more now! I see it's more than just a big round table and chairs, it's got comfy couches too!

*psst: Libelle looks like she has crumbs on her mouth on page 9, heheh, and Xin always has an armful of cookies! Wahaha!

By the way, about the the Votes Incentive Ideas (the forum thing above you wanted to direct us to) I think it'd be really nice to see weird character shippings as incentive pictures *muahahahaha* Say Ryan and Xin or Azalea and Douglas *gasps* Or perhaps poses of the characters fighting/using their respective skills. OR *getting excited* family portraits! Pictures of their parents and siblings and stuff! To give them even more character background!

I thank every lord and diety and god currently in existance for your revival.

While waiting for this update, I went back and read Predirection (for the 15,000th time, zomg) and I would just like to say that there is a definitely recognizable level of improvement between now and then.

As an aside. I am DYING to know what the hell is going on! And any story that can do that to me is spiffy :p I just find it awesome that even though I've read Predirection, I am still wtfing over so many things :p

You know, this thought just occurred to me as I was eating sugar cookies. What kind of cookies does Ryan bake for the student council? You can never definitively tell in the pictures. Of course, this all maybe be irrelevant, but I was just thinking, "I want chocolate chip," and wondered if these guys had a preference.
And I love how Xin and Libelle innocently provoke Zephan. Libelle probably does it on purpose.

I want the book but for some reason, my money disappears so fast it's not funny. I literally lose it. T_T You're probably thinking how I can lose it? Sometimes it falls out of my pockets (how I do not know). Then I would forget overtime where my secret stashes are.

The same thing happens to me!! It's so frustrating! I've lost so much money!

See I've learned that the pant gnomes have jinxed everyone's pockets so their money magically falls out. That's why I don't trust my pants anymore. Wallets an purses were invented for a reason. I still have secret stashes and it's not that I forget where I hid them. It's that I forget they exist, but I always hide it somewhere in my room and it usually pops up again when I clean it. During Spring Break I found a hundred dollar bill in my drawers.

I'm still calculating how much money I can spend. I have to buy a copy Torchlights because I was published in it. Also because my english teacher would make me and she scares me.

You know, you could just open up a bank account. My parents went with me when I was little so I could open one up for myself (even though they also needed to be on it because I wasn't old enough). They figured it would be a good way for me to count and save up money, even if it was only Birthday and Christmas and New Years money. That doesn't mean that secret stashes aren't useful or good to have, but it might be good to have a reliable spot for money if you either: 1) keep 'losing' it, or 2) can't find it. With a bank account you won't 'lose' it and it'll generate interest. Plus, it's all in one spot so you know where it is, so when you want to buy something, you'll know where your money is so you can get it. Plus, you can use checks, which are a safer way to pay through the mail. (Rumor has it, if the post office worker can see the cash through the envelope, he/she might just open up the envelope and just take it. That's why bills often say, "don't send cash.")
