Otakon and San Diego Comic Con were great!! Thanks to everyone who came by my table at Otakon :B
I kinda had forgotten to update before going to both those conventions, ha ha D:
I. almost forgot to update today too. I lose track of time really easily :[ I'M SORRY!!
I have more things to say but I'll wait 'til next week >_>
Hey,
Is it only me that can't actually see the new page? It just looks black with "Section 2.1 + Page 30" written on it.
Nope, I'm getting that too :(
Same, nothing coming up!
Same here :|
Ah!! Sorry about that, guys D8 D8 I fixed it now!
This will be a bit long.
First off, I find it EXTREMELY lucky that I chanced upon this wonderful graphic novel. (The ads helped.) That being said, I think you've got a lovely style--the humanoid and animal figures look a little off to me, not quite anime-esque, you see, but I just, the backgrounds, the detail, the objects and panels and frames--just...wow.
Of course I like the characters, they look well enough (especially, um, Doug over there *heart*), but I'm a sucker for a good setting, and I think the elegant and mysterious boarding school (while an oft-used setting) is exquisitely laid out. I just love the detail and the mystique surrounding it, along with the sheer prestige (a la Bisco Hatori's "Ouran High School Host Club") attached to the school (which I find a bit strange at times, since exactly _where_ the school is situated isn't clearly defined, but...).
Right, I've actually been reading through the archives for a good four weeks before posting here, so I can say FINALLY! I've been waiting for this page for so long! (Hellooo, plot exposition!)
Excellent art, of course. The illustrations never fail to astound me. (And is it just me, or does Douglas look hot angled just _so_? *drool*)
Um. Sorry if this is too long. *bows*
Yay! OMG! Backstory! XDDDD
x: The English major in me would just like to point out that it's grammatically incorrect to say "between your mother and I." (it should be "between your mother and me;" after all, you wouldn't say "between I and your mother.") Unless you did it on purpose, in which case ignore me~
Ha ha, thanks for pointing that out D: I was debating about it a little but for some reason I decided to go with "I" instead of "me" just because of the way it sounds, but I might change it to "me" though, aheheh :')
When Azaelia said "altruistic", I couldn't help but think of Princess November from the webcomic, No Rest For the Wicked. :3
I admit I was really really tempted to draw a picture of Azalea vomiting a frog D:
Shouldn't that last little dialogue bubble end in a question mark?
Yay, update~
Missed this comic.
